Description

Hotel Helena is situated in one of the most beautiful centres in the western part of Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) in Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The location of the hotel is very attractive, because it is just opposite a ski tow with the possibility of evening skiing.

The hotel was completely renovated in 2002 and at our guests’ disposal are now:

  • 20 double rooms with the possibility of an extra bed (with shower, WC, satellite TV)
  • 5 four-bed rooms (with shower, WC, satellite TV)
  • the balcony is accessible from a number of rooms

Every day the restaurant with a hearth is open to our guests, where you can taste the special dishes from Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) as well as traditional Czech cuisine. For a small charge you can also use the sauna near our hotel bar where you can taste many different mixed drinks. For the other guests there is a gym there. There are parking places for buses and cars directly at the building. The hotel is very well equipped for wedding feasts, family parties and training courses.

Winter season:

The ideal location of the hotel in Horní Rokytnice enables you to use a few shorter or longer ski tows. Skiing centre Horní Domky is only 600 m away. Close by there are ski and snowboard rentals, as well as a ski school where the clients of our hotel can have a price reduction.

Summer season:
You can take many trips or tours in the countryside (for example to the Labe spring).

Possibilities of sports activities:

  • tennis courts 400 m
  • sports hall 400 m
  • bowling 1000 m
  • skittles 600 m
  • riding

We also recommend you to visit Harrachov 12 km far away. Here you can see glass-works and a historical glass cutting shop and you can use the cableway to Čertova hora (Devil’s Mountain).
You could also visit the biggest centre in the Giant Mountains Špindlerův mlýn and use the summer bob run. You can not leave out going round the town of Pec pod Sněžkou with the highest mountain of the Czech Republic Sněžka - 1602 m above sea-level.
A trip to the Adršpašsko–Teplické skály (rocks) 75 km far away can really become an unforgettable experience for you.

We are looking forward to your visit in our new hotel Helena ...
